Tucked away on a quiet country road is an antique western piece of heaven. Step through the entrance of the driveway and you step 100 years back in time.
We're Dick and Carole Prescott. We were both raised on ranches and we want to do everything we can to preserve our western heritage. We've been saving a lot of cowboy and old western things.
Here at Barbwire & Lace, we've built an old-fashioned town to create a great atmosphere for your wedding reception or other event. Dick builds custom saddles right here on our property. He has worked with horses and mules all his life. He built all the buildings to make Barbwire and Lace the perfect venue for your western-themed wedding. We converted a couple of horse stalls into rooms for the bride and groom to get ready. We even have a carriage and a team of mules that can bring the bride and her dad in before the wedding and the bride and groom out after the wedding. He restored the old black carriage himself.
We live right here at Barbwire & Lace so we enjoy the beauty every day that we have created together. Barbwire and Lace is almost like a dream. We would like to share it with others on their special day or for the special event.
I like to plant flowers and decorate withauthentic old cowboy and western things. It gives the place a great and one of a kind look and brings back lots of fun memories of days gone by. We think Barbwire and Lace helps reflect a simple and more relaxed meaning of life. I love the saying "life's not measured by the breathes we take, but by the moments that take our breathe away."
